Hello, I am Justina Green and I am a registered nurse and a national board certified colon hydrotherapist. My nursing journey began while working in an acute care hospital caring for patients in medical-surgical departments, progressive telemetry unit, and the intensive care unit. I was ready for change and left hospital (bedside) nursing and shift work to step into an administrative nursing role as a Health Facilities Evaluator Nurse, also known as a state surveyor. After a few years of recertification and survey work I transitioned into utilization review for California’s Medicaid program. I was in search of the greatest impact I could make caring for others and utilizing my skills and abilities. I learned much about myself and nursing in each of these capacities, yet I still did not have the job satisfaction or fulfillment I desired.
I wanted something more. I began a personal wellness journey that led me to colon hydrotherapy and holistic nursing – and the power of self-care. Through my journey of self-discovery and the healing that followed, I became inspired to do more to be able to help others along their journey for health and wellness using holistic principles. I decided to be the change I desired.
My self-care routines include yoga, meditation, breathwork, guided imagery, aromatherapy, tapping, and Ayurvedic interventions. I believe that food is medicine. I enjoy dancing, reading, listening to music, spending time outdoors hiking or paddling, and making memories with my family and friends. I am passionate about sharing my journey with others and assisting others to feel better through principles of lifestyle change related to self-care and self-healing. My journey has led me here, a nurse entrepreneur- to spread the love of lifestyle health and wellness, in- person and virtually.
I am a bachelor’s prepared Registered Nurse, with a master’s degree in Health Care Administration and, a recent graduate of the Integrative Nurse Coach Academy. I am a member of the American Holistic Nurses Association, and the International Association of Colon Therapists. I hold an active RN license in the State of California.
